Overview
AudioClean is built with privacy at its core. All audio and video processing runs entirely in your web browser using WebAssembly. Your files are never uploaded to any server.
Data We Collect
We collect minimal data: your email address (if you sign in), payment information (processed by Stripe, never stored by us), and basic analytics (page views, feature usage) via Google Analytics.
Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect, store, access, or transmit your audio or video files. All file processing happens locally on your device. We have zero access to your media content.
Authentication
Sign-in is handled by Clerk. When you sign in with Google or email, Clerk processes your authentication data according to their privacy policy. We only receive your user ID and email.
Payment Processing
Payments are securely processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details. Stripe handles all payment data according to PCI DSS standards.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Google Analytics uses cookies for anonymous usage tracking. You can disable analytics cookies in your browser settings.
Third-Party Services
We use Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Google Analytics (anonymous usage data), and Vercel (hosting). Each service has its own privacy policy.
Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.
