Most files are processed in under 30 seconds. Longer files or video files may take a bit more time depending on your device.
AudioClean removes wind noise, fan hum, air conditioning, traffic noise and other steady background sounds. Keyboard clicks and background chatter are turned down in the gaps between sentences; voices talking over the speaker stay.
Light preserves the most natural sound, Medium offers balanced noise reduction, and Aggressive removes maximum noise but may slightly affect voice quality.
Partly. Noise removal also lowers the reverb tail between words, so room recordings sound closer, but distinct echoes stay. Dedicated echo and reverb removal is on our roadmap for a future update.

Troubleshooting
Processing seems stuck
- Make sure the browser tab is in the foreground
- Try a smaller file first to test
- Close other tabs to free up memory
- Refresh the page and try again
Audio sounds distorted after processing
- Try a lower noise reduction level (Light instead of Aggressive)
- Use a different scene preset that matches your content
- The original recording quality affects the output
File won't upload
- Check that the file format is supported (see table above)
- Ensure the file is under the size limit for your plan
- Try a different browser (Chrome or Edge recommended)
Browser shows an error
- Update your browser to the latest version
